Wahee Gun Club - Marion, South Carolina
Welcome to the Wahee Gun Club Web Site. We are located in the far most western portion of Marion County near Marion South Carolina. There are approximately 17,000 acres of prime hunting land nestled adjacent to the banks of the Great Pee Dee River. There is an abundance of wildlife habitat consisting of, but not limited to whitetail deer, wild hogs, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, squirrels, and raccoons. For those that don't like to hunt, but would like to enjoy the outdoors, there is a recreational membership available. We feel like Wahee Gun Club has the land, facilities, and wildlife habitat to fulfill any outdoorsman's need.
Wahee Gun Club was established in 1926 as non-profit organization. It is registered in South Carolina as a corporation and is governed by a set of by-laws and constitution and an elected board of directors. One of the goals was to establish a family oriented club that the community would be proud of and a person would be proud to be a member. We strive to make Wahee Gun Club a place for family recreation and a training ground for our youth. Members are encouraged to bring children, grandchildren and family members to all club functions. A Boy Scout Camp was re-constructed several years ago on the lower part of the club. It has been utilized by several Scout Troops, Church Groups and other Civic Organizations. The Club also prompts and hosts hunts and recreation to benefit youth and groups with special needs.
